Robotics Arena Fence Raising

Volunteers met Friday, June 24, 2016 at the site of the Robotics Arena soon to be build in Villa Tasso, Florida to construct a fence that will enclose the construction site. The site will serve as a practice arena mainly for FIRST Robotics Competitions (FRC) Teams in and around the Emerald Coast. The Niceville High School RadioActive Roaches team (2556) has been leading this charge along with donors. It has been an uphill struggle, but the development approval was passed recently and the construction is scheduled to be complete this Fall. The goal is to have the building ready to go for FRC build season, which starts in January. They will invite other FRC teams for scrimmage games in 2017.
