FIRST LEGO League Florida Northwest Regional Championship

img_3243The top 16 teams out of 48 teams in the region competed in the FIRST LEGO League Florida Northwest Regional Championship on Saturday, February 18th.

The Tournament Champions, winning a bid to State and World Festival, were team 6351 Rockin’ Robotics, from Bob Sikes Elementary!

Also winning bids to the State Competition in Lakeland, Florida are:

  • 18690 Turtle Robotics
  • 8882 Pantherbotz
  • 3748 STEMM Swarm
  • 25105 The TLRC Cool

Team 8885 DMS Bricklayers had the top Robot Performance score of 167.

Team 3735 STEMM Stingers were the 2nd place overall Champions. They will advance to the Razorback Invitational Tournament. They were also nominated to progress forward in the Global Innovation Award Competition for their Animal Allies Project.
